Job Title

Data Fabric Verification Engineer β€” SystemVerilog/UVM Expert

Role Summary

Responsible for planning and executing verification for data fabric / Infinity Fabric components. The role focuses on developing SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, validating RTL behavior, and delivering measurable verification quality.

Works within a hardware verification team and collaborates with design and architecture teams to close verification gaps and improve product quality.

Experience Level

Mid-level (guidance: 5–20 years of relevant verification experience).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include implementing verification plans, running regressions, and reporting coverage and quality metrics.

  • Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification IP.
  • Create directed, constrained-random, and coverage-driven tests.
  • Run regressions, analyze simulation results, and debug RTL/verification failures.
  • Measure and report functional coverage and other verification quality metrics.
  • Integrate and maintain verification tools, automation, and scripts.
  • Coordinate with architects, RTL designers, and firmware teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and improve the verification environment and test infrastructure.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Expert knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Proven experience writing verification tests and debugging simulations.
  • Familiarity with simulators, coverage tools, and regression frameworks.
  • Experience applying coverage-driven verification and tracking verification metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to coordinate cross-functional work.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to verification processes.
  • Nice-to-have: scripting (Python, TCL), emulation or FPGA prototyping experience, prior work on data fabric or interconnect verification.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent practical experience acceptable.
