Job Title

Data Center AI Hardware Support Lead

Role Summary

Lead development of voltage plans, silicon characterization, Vmin analysis, and power-optimization for Data Center SoCs. Collaborate with PTE, software, PMIC, thermal, and validation teams to deliver production-ready voltage plans across silicon milestones.

Drive data analysis and automation to monitor silicon health and enable informed power-management decisions.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 12+ years of relevant experience in SoC power characterization, silicon validation, or related roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership of voltage and power activities and data-driven silicon validation.

  • Lead voltage-plan development and release across silicon milestones.
  • Perform silicon bring-up, Vmin characterization, and power-optimization efforts.
  • Define and validate PMIC/regulator interactions with system power architecture.
  • Collaborate with PTE, software, PMIC, thermal, and validation teams to resolve cross-domain issues.
  • Analyze large silicon characterization datasets and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Develop automation and tooling for data processing and analysis.
  • Build dashboards for Vmin trends, voltage correlations, and silicon-health monitoring.
  • Debug hardware using schematics, oscilloscopes/CROs, and platform bring-up techniques.
  • Perform power-integrity and PDN analysis as part of validation and optimization.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.

  • Extensive experience in SoC power characterization, Vmin analysis, and voltage-plan development (senior-level, ~12+ years preferred).
  • Hands-on silicon bring-up and validation experience for CPU or AI accelerator platforms in data-center environments.
  • Knowledge of PMIC and regulator architecture and integration with SoC power domains.
  • Power-integrity and PDN analysis experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis and handling large characterization datasets.
  • Practical debugging skills using schematics and oscilloscopes (CRO); Linux/Android platform debugging experience.
  • Experience developing automation and dashboards using scripting and data tools (Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI or similar).
  • Understanding of semiconductor device/process variations (PVT) and their impact on Vmin and power.
  • Strong cross-functional communication with firmware, hardware, PMIC, thermal, and validation teams.

Education Requirements

Degrees mentioned in the posting include B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.S., Master's, and PhD in electrical/computer-related fields. Specifically referenced fields: Electronics/Electrical Engineering (ECE/EE), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical disciplines. The posting lists formal alternatives with experience requirements: Bachelor's +4 years, Master's +3 years, or PhD +2 years of relevant systems-engineering experience.
