Customer Technical Lead
Role Summary
Lead customer-facing technical engagements for datacenter power delivery within the Performance Computing Power division, focusing on power efficiency and density for AI and high-performance computing platforms.
Work with customers to define roadmaps aligned to their platforms and collaborate cross-functionally (marketing, design, packaging, applications, firmware, and software) to turn proposals into shipped products and revenue.
Experience Level
Senior β 15+ years of multidisciplinary experience in the semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership to customers and internal teams to define system-level solutions and drive product execution.
- Engage with customer systems engineers to understand system-level challenges and value drivers.
- Analyze VR (voltage regulator) approaches and assess their system impact for datacenter platforms.
- Create technical collateral and executive-summary materials to support customer discussions and senior leadership reviews.
- Support top-tier customer engagements to build consensus and drive proposals toward revenue.
- Maintain strategic customer relationships to provide early market visibility and feedback.
- Coordinate with internal design, packaging, firmware, and software teams to resolve implementation trade-offs during execution.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; concise list of essential and preferred qualifications.
- 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with multidisciplinary exposure.
- Practical knowledge of power architectures and product types used with CPUs and other high-current ASICs.
- Experience with multiphase VRs or other datacenter power products.
- Familiarity with magnetics design, passive component selection, power device driver challenges, and real-world implementation constraints.
- Experience working with embedded SoCs and collaborating across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
- Strong technical and executive-level communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience with high-level modeling tools such as SIMPLIS.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or higher in power engineering preferred.
