Role Overview
NVIDIA is looking for a Custom SOC/IP Verification Engineer to work on the next generation SoC and IP verification projects. This position demands expertise in ASIC verification, particularly in areas related to cache coherency and memory subsystems. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance of cache protocols across complex memory hierarchies in high-performance ASIC designs.
Experience Level
The role requires extensive experience in ASIC verification, specifically within cache coherency protocols and multi-level cache hierarchies. A strong background in System Verilog and UVM is essential.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- ASIC design verification focusing on cache coherency protocols.
- Developing and executing test plans for verification using UVM environments.
- Designing and implementing system-level verification testbenches for multi-level caches.
- Collaborating with various teams to create comprehensive verification plans.
- Driving development strategies for silicon and platform verification methodologies.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in ASIC verification.
- In-depth knowledge of System Verilog and UVM methodology.
- Hands-on experience with AMBA protocols such as AXI, ACE, and CHI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, and TCL, as well as C/C++ for integration.
Education Requirements
Applicants must have a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
