Role Summary
The Chip Architect will lead the definition and documentation of next-generation ARM-based Systems-on-Chip (SoCs). This role bridges system requirements and silicon implementation, focusing on mixed-signal integration for low-power sensing and touch interfaces.

Senior, requiring 10-12+ years of experience depending on degree.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive power and bandwidth analysis for architectural trade-offs.
- Create and maintain detailed chip specification documentation.
- Define and drive top-level architecture for complex SoCs using various ARM processor cores.
- Serve as a technical lead across multiple disciplines including firmware, design, systems, and analog.
- Architect seamless integration of mixed-signal components for advanced sensing and touch applications.
- Champion ultra-low-power design methodologies to achieve battery life targets.
Requirements
Key requirements for this role include:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s degree with 10+ years in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with successful SoC tape-outs and rigorous power/bandwidth analysis.
- Deep expertise in ARM architectures and system IP.
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal integration for sensing/touch applications.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with significant experience, or a Master’s degree in the same fields with lesser experience.
