Role Summary

The Automotive MCU/SoC Test Development & Evaluation Automation Engineer is responsible for developing techniques to automate test development and evaluation processes for automotive MCU/SoC products. This role aims to enhance test quality and reduce turnaround time through structured and automated systems.

Experience Level

Senior level, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor testing/evaluation or programming.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing systems that link test specifications, evaluation data, and production test data.
• Automating the creation of product test specifications from IP test specifications.
• Developing technologies to enable consistent processing from evaluation data aggregation to production test ramp-up.
• Implementing automation technologies to optimize test specifications and improve test quality.
• Establishing stable data transfer and automation methods between multiple test-related systems.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

• Experience in semiconductor product testing or programming (5+ years).
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proficient in business-level Japanese.
• Understanding of spoken English.

Nice-to-have skills include:

• Experience in creating test specifications or test patterns (5+ years).
• Experience in test program development (5+ years).
• Knowledge of semiconductor testing (hardware/software).
• Experience in product property evaluation (5+ years).
