Role Summary

The Associate Engineer will support IC design activities for system-on-chip (SoC) products. The role works within the IC design team in Hyderabad to perform circuit simulation, verification support, and lab characterization to help move analog/mixed-signal and digital blocks from design to tapeout and product validation.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Support schematic entry, circuit simulation, and analysis for analog/mixed-signal and digital blocks.
• Develop and run verification tests and simulation testbenches.
• Participate in layout reviews and collaborate with layout engineers to resolve issues.
• Assist with silicon bring-up, measurement, and characterization in the lab.
• Document design work, test results, and contribute to cross-functional design reviews.

Requirements

Key requirements and skills (must-have vs. nice-to-have):

• Must-have: Basic knowledge of IC design concepts and simulation; familiarity with common EDA tools or simulation environments; practical problem-solving and ability to work in a team.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Cadence tools, SPICE-level simulation, scripting (Python, Tcl) for automation, or prior exposure to mixed-signal design and lab measurement equipment.
