Role Summary

The Associate Applications Engineer will participate in a structured training program, gaining expertise in solving technical issues and working on diverse hardware and software systems within the electronics industry. This role is part of a fast-track paid training initiative leading to opportunities in technical marketing, product support, or sales at Siemens EDA.

Experience Level

Entry-level, suitable for recent graduates or those with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Applications Engineer, you will:

  • Engage in a comprehensive training program to develop technical problem-solving skills.
  • Support customers with complex hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate with a motivated team in the electronics domain.
  • Participate in technical marketing and product support tasks.
  • Travel occasionally as needed.

Requirements

Must have the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on semiconductors.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Project experience in VLSI design.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with IC design, both analog and digital.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Tcl/Tk, Perl, C/C++.

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
