Role Summary
Join a verification team responsible for functional verification of low-power SoCs used in Blink and Ring battery-powered devices. The team participates in architectural and micro-architectural trade-offs and delivers verification from early modeling through post-silicon validation.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically requires 5+ years of relevant digital verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary verification responsibilities for block and system-level IP in a vertically integrated SoC team.
- Develop and maintain bit-accurate C models for blocks and subsystems.
- Evaluate blocks and subsystems for testability and verifiability.
- Write comprehensive block- and system-level test plans.
- Implement assertions, traffic generators, and scoreboards using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Execute verification plans and perform rigorous debug at RTL and system level.
Requirements
Key must-have skills and experience, followed by preferred additions.
-
Must-have: 5+ years of experience in digital verification (SoC/interface or image processor experience preferred).
-
Must-have: 5+ years working with SystemVerilog and UVM.
-
Must-have: 3+ years experience with C/C++ and scripting (Python or TCL).
- Experience evaluating and improving testability and verifiability of designs.
- Experience performing detailed debug of verification failures.
-
Nice-to-have: Familiarity with formal verification techniques.
-
Nice-to-have: Lab debug and FPGA bring-up experience.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with gate-level simulations and UPF low-power simulations.
