Job Title

ASIC Product Development Team Lead

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end execution of ASIC/SoC product development, aligning cross-functional teams from specification through silicon bring-up and production. Accountable for meeting schedule, quality, and performance targets across design, validation, and manufacturing.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Guidance: 8–15+ years in ASIC/SoC development with experience leading multi-site programs.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include program leadership, technical coordination, and delivery across the product lifecycle.

  • Lead and coordinate multi-functional ASIC/SoC programs from architecture through production.
  • Define and manage schedules, milestones, risks, and quality metrics across design, verification, and manufacturing phases.
  • Drive silicon bring-up, lab debug, validation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Oversee manufacturing transfer, productization, and production readiness activities.
  • Provide program-level reporting and stakeholder communication, including executive updates.
  • Mentor and manage engineering teams and cross-site collaborators to deliver program objectives.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Proven experience leading sophisticated, multi-site ASIC/SoC programs.
  • Deep knowledge of the ASIC design flow: architecture, RTL, design verification, place & route, physical design, and tape-out.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools and flows (Synopsys, Cadence) and experience with advanced process nodes (7nm / 5nm / 3nm).
  • Experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug, validation flows, and firmware-hardware co-debug.
  • Experience with program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, SerDes, NAND) relevant to the domain.

Nice-to-have:

  • Executive-level reporting experience and team member management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making under ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn Agentic AI to improve program efficiency.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
