Role Overview
We are seeking an ASIC Physical Design Architect to lead design initiatives in our engineering sector. This role involves leveraging technical expertise to oversee the physical design and implementation of ASICs while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver efficient designs.
Experience Level
This position is geared towards candidates with a significant background in ASIC design with an emphasis on physical design methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and optimizing ASIC physical designs to meet performance, power, and area targets.
- Engaging in the design flow from RTL through GDSII, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborating with product teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Performing design reviews and guiding junior engineers through best practices in physical design.
Required Qualifications
The following qualifications are necessary for this position:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ASIC physical design with a comprehensive understanding of design methodologies.
