ASIC PCIe Subsystem Lead
Role Summary
The ASIC PCIe Subsystem Lead at Micron Technology is responsible for leading SoC integration efforts including CPU subsystems and peripheral IPs. The role encompasses ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization across various architectural levels while collaborating with multiple teams throughout the chip development cycle.
Experience Level
Senior Level, with a requirement of 7-10 years of experience in ASIC design and system integration.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Lead top-level SoC integration including CPU subsystems and interconnects.
- Own SoC RTL integration and support timing closure.
- Define and maintain SoC-level interface specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams for seamless IP integration.
- Integrate and validate CPU cores or clusters.
- Work on testability requirements for production.
- Support pre-silicon simulation and post-silicon bring-up.
- Drive root-cause analysis during integration and debugging.
Requirements
Candidates must possess the following skills:
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 13+ years of experience in SoC and PCIe subsystem design.
- Proficiency in RTL development using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with high-speed protocols such as PCIe, USB, and SATA.
- Knowledge of AMBA AXI/AHB protocols is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
