ASIC Digital IP Design Verification Director

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned leader in ASIC digital design and verification with extensive experience in technical management and team development. This role involves overseeing multi-site engineering teams, driving industry-leading methodologies, and shaping innovative features for high-performance silicon products.

Experience Level

The ideal candidate will possess 16 to 18 years of experience in ASIC design and verification, with a substantial background in VLSI/ASIC technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-site team responsible for ASIC digital IP design and verification while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
• Define the technical direction and envision innovative features for IP cores supporting various connectivity protocols.
• Implement best-in-class design and verification methodologies, and drive process improvements throughout the organization.
• Oversee hiring, team growth, and talent development initiatives, fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration.
• Collaborate with customers and management to ensure alignment between technical strategies and business goals.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for timely project delivery.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise in design, verification, and process optimization, while establishing quality processes for IP development.

Requirements

• BSEE with 18+ years or MSEE with 16+ years of relevant experience in ASIC digital design and verification.
• Expertise in VLSI design with hands-on experience on control path-oriented architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of various design and verification protocols and experience with IP Cores or SoC design.
• Proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog, simulation tools, and verification methodologies.
• Experience leading large engineering teams, including remote and multi-site teams.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools for simulation optimization is a plus.

Education Requirements

BSEE with 18+ years of experience or MSEE with 16+ years of experience in a related field.
