Position Summary

The ASIC Digital Design Staff Engineer will lead the design and verification efforts for complex ASIC blocks and systems, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure alignment with performance specifications. This position requires at least several years of relevant experience in ASIC digital design and verification, showcasing a strong capability in RTL design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and verification of complex ASIC blocks, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design components smoothly.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance.
  • Utilize advanced EDA tools to enhance design performance and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote skill development within the team.
  • Remain current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive experience in ASIC digital design and verification, particularly RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Proficiency with standard EDA tools and methodologies for design and verification.
  • Thorough understanding of high-performance interface IP protocols such as PCIe, CXL, and DDR.
  • Knowledge of the complete digital ASIC and IP development flow including synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
  • Experience in power analysis and optimization techniques at the RTL level.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven problem-solving ability for complex design challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.

Education Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
