The ASIC Digital Design Sr. Staff Principal Engineer will lead and drive all aspects of complete IP Design execution, architecting and implementing advanced RTL for high-performance protocols. The role involves collaboration with global teams while mentoring and guiding small design teams.

Senior; 10+ years of relevant industry experience in ASIC digital design.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Lead all aspects of complete IP Design execution from start to end.
- Architect and implement RTL for DDR PHY and related IP cores.
- Translate specifications into detailed architecture and design documentation.
- Contribute as an individual designer and lead engineers in RTL coding and analysis.
- Collaborate with global teams for cohesive project execution.
- Mentor teams of RTL designers and provide technical guidance.
- Engage in process improvements to design flows and methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and verification issues.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI, or related discipline.
- 10+ years in ASIC digital design with focus on protocols like DDR, PCIe, USB, or HBM.
- Experience leading IP design projects and small teams.
- Expertise in RTL coding (Verilog/SystemVerilog) and design flows.
- Hands-on experience with control path designs like asynchronous FIFOs.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Shell is advantageous.
- Ability to technically lead or mentor teams of engineers.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
