Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and designing microprocessor IP at architectural and RTL levels.
- Writing high-level architecture and micro-architecture specifications.
- Optimizing designs for performance, speed, area, and power.
- Developing Verilog testbenches to ensure functionality.
- Debugging design issues and collaborating with verification teams.
- Maintaining existing products and managing project plans.
- Collaborating with multi-site teams across different time zones.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 9+ years of digital design experience in ASIC environments using Verilog.
- Strong background in RISC architectures and microprocessor IP design.
- Proficiency in assembly and C/C++ programming.
- Experience in writing architectural and micro-architectural specifications.
- Expertise in optimizing designs for performance, speed, area, and power.
- Familiarity with multi-core architectures and DSP skills are advantageous.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
