Role Summary
The Security IP group at Synopsys focuses on hardware verification of advanced security systems IP components for high-performance silicon chips. This role involves working as part of a talented team to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable security solutions for various applications.
Experience Level
Senior level with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing design verification of cutting-edge IP components and subsystems.
- Developing product verification strategies, including test specifications and detailed test plans.
- Implementing and automating test environments for regression testing.
- Collaborating with design engineers to debug products and resolve defects.
- Staying current with verification methodologies and integrating them into the workflow.
- Hardware verification using SystemVerilog / UVM and Formal Verification techniques.
- Researching and integrating new developments in embedded security.
Requirements
Key qualifications include:
- Proven expertise in verification of digital hardware IP components.
- Experience with modern verification methodologies including UVM and formal verification.
- Good knowledge about IC design flows and excellent debugging skills.
- Experience with verification flow automation and scripting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must-have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Desirable: Familiarity with security and cryptographic protocols.
