ASIC Digital Design Architect

Role Summary

The ASIC Digital Design Architect will define architectural specifications for complex subsystems and ensure their successful integration into high-performance silicon chips.

Experience Level

15+ years of industry experience in semiconductor design and subsystem architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural specifications for subsystems (e.g., memory controllers, power management units).
• Translate system-level requirements into detailed subsystems architectures.
• Lead integration of multiple IP blocks, ensuring compliance with SoC-level constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware and software to validate subsystems.
• Produce architecture documents and communicate architectural intent clearly.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor design or IP integration.
• Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog and advanced verification methodologies.
• Proficiency with interface protocols (AMBA, PCIe, etc.).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or a related field.
