ASIC Design Verification Sr. Staff Engineer - DDR

Role Summary

The ASIC Design Verification Sr. Staff Engineer will lead technical teams and drive excellence in digital design, particularly in the context of DDR IP verification. The role focuses on the development and implementation of advanced verification methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior level with 8+ years of relevant experience in ASIC verification, specifically in DDR IP projects.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Leading and driving ownership of critical verification areas with a team of engineers.
• Designing and implementing verification environments for synthesizable cores.
• Performing verification tasks for IP cores and working closely with RTL designers.
• Developing advanced test plans and test environments.
• Coding and debugging test cases, including complex checkers and assertions using System Verilog/UVM.
• Reviewing functional and code coverage metrics to meet quality goals.
• Managing regressions and improving verification strategies.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience include:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• 8+ years in ASIC verification with experience in leading DDR IP projects.
• Expertise in System Verilog/UVM test environments.
• Advanced skills in test plan development and coverage metrics analysis.
• Proficiency with serial interface protocols and knowledge of DDR/LPDDR.
• Experience in managing end-to-end verification deliverables.

Education Requirements

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
