Responsibilities
Key day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Develop and review RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog) for digital designs.
- Integrate and verify standard interfaces (AXI, APB), IP blocks and ARM-related fabrics.
- Work with EDA tools for synthesis, simulation, linting, CDC checking, and timing analysis.
- Implement low-power intent (UPF) and clock-domain crossing strategies.
- Script flow automation and tooling using Python, Tcl, Perl or similar.
- Coordinate with customers; report technical progress and issues regularly.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of Verilog/SystemVerilog design experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Fusion Compiler and CDC tools.
- Proficiency with EDA toolchains: synthesizers and signoff flows (e.g., Design Compiler/Genus), simulators and lint/CDC tools (VCS, Spyglass, Questa or equivalent).
- Experience with AMBA protocols (AXI/APB) and working knowledge of ARM-based processor systems.
- Practical knowledge of UPF (low-power intent), static timing analysis and timing signoff fundamentals.
