Role Summary

Lead pre-sales technical engagements for Synopsys HAPS FPGA prototyping platforms and ProtoCompiler. Work with sales and customer engineering teams to design and validate prototyping solutions that accelerate SoC bring-up, debug, and system validation.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include leading technical evaluations and collaborating with sales to qualify and advance opportunities.

• Lead pre-sales technical engagements for HAPS FPGA prototyping platforms and ProtoCompiler.
• Assess customer SoC validation challenges and propose partitioning, performance, debug, and integration solutions.
• Run technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and benchmarks that demonstrate solution value.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and architecture reviews to engineering and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales to qualify opportunities, define technical milestones, and address objections.
• Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with customer architects and engineering leaders.
• Capture customer feedback to inform product roadmap and competitive positioning.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and practical experience.

• Hands-on experience in FPGA-based prototyping, ASIC design, or SoC validation (posting lists 1–2+ years).
• Strong knowledge of FPGA architectures (Xilinx or Intel) and RTL design in Verilog or VHDL, synthesis flows, and hardware bring-up and debug techniques.
• Ability to translate RTL-level complexity into testable prototypes and explain business value to program managers.
• Comfortable traveling to customer sites for evaluations and technical engagements, often on short notice.
• Excellent communication skills for both engineering and executive audiences and ability to work closely with sales.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with HAPS platforms, ProtoCompiler, or similar FPGA prototyping tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
