The Applications Engineering, Principal Engineer role focuses on providing technical expertise in semiconductor design, with particular emphasis on supporting the sale and adoption of Synopsys products. The engineer is expected to manage multiple customer activities, work closely with Account Managers, and contribute to account planning.

Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities include:
- Supporting sale and adoption of Synopsys products for performance improvements.
- Demonstrating advanced design methodologies using Synopsys tools at sub 5nm nodes.
- Managing customer activities and priorities in collaboration with Account Managers.
- Conducting training, problem resolution, and technical account management.
- Engaging with end-users and assisting in the development of solutions based on customer needs.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience in ASIC design with industry-standard tools (placement, optimization, CTS, routing).
- RTL to GDSII full flow knowledge is preferable.
- In-depth knowledge of Synopsys back-end tools and design methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and customer sensitivity.
Education Requirements
BSEE or equivalent with 7+ years of experience, or MSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
