Role Summary

The Applications Engineer will support high-speed IPs and designs, collaborating with vendors and customers to clear technical hurdles and provide timely solutions. This position is part of the IP Product Enablement team, which focuses on developing best-in-class solutions for low power, small form factor, high reliability, and performance product lines.

Experience Level

Senior - 10+ years of experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Supporting factory applications engineering for high-speed IPs and designs.
• Bridging the customer-factory relationship and resolving technical issues.
• Designing and executing solutions for programmable logic devices.
• Participating in product development from architecture to customer support.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications for this position include:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on FPGA and/or firmware bring-up/debugging experience.
• Experience with FPGA design flows, Verilog and/or VHDL.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience delivering revenue-generating hardware products.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MS.
