Role Summary

Provide application support and product evaluation for DDR PMICs serving Data Center customers. Work with DRAM vendors and internal teams to drive design-in, validate product behavior, and resolve power-related issues throughout product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical support, evaluate products, and enable customer adoption of TI DDR PMIC solutions.

• Respond to customer technical inquiries and support design-in activities for released products.
• Perform schematic and PCB layout reviews to ensure power integrity and stability.
• Recreate and debug customer issues on evaluation boards and customer hardware; provide on-site support when required.
• Support Intel AVL qualification activities and manage technical requirements during critical design windows.
• Design EVMs and internal evaluation boards; create user guides and test procedures for customer use.
• Participate in datasheet reviews and bench characterization using automated test setups and advanced measurement techniques.
• Support new-silicon testing from an application perspective, including robustness and destructive testing when needed.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers on early design-in and develop automation workflows for data collection and analysis.
• Create reference designs and application notes targeted at Data Center implementations.

Requirements

Key technical and practical skills required; preferred skills are listed under "Nice-to-have".

• Must-have: Foundational knowledge of power electronics (DC-DC conversion) and control loop theory.
• Experience with PCB design tools and power-layout principles.
• Proven ability to debug hardware and system-level power issues.
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment and support customers globally.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with automation/scripting (Python, MATLAB) for automated testing and data analysis.
• Direct experience with DDR technologies (DDR4/5/6) or Data Center/Memory markets.
• Deep understanding of control-loop stability and compensation; experience managing complex technical projects.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (as stated). No alternate degree levels or equivalency language specified.
