Role Summary
The Application Support Engineer Intern will engage with customers to assess support needs and collaborate on IC design workflows. This hybrid role allows for a mix of remote and office work in Yerevan, Armenia.
Experience Level
Internship level, suitable for candidates currently pursuing or having recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with custom IC design customers and assessing their support needs.
- Collaborating with account teams on the deployment of design workflows.
- Providing support for IC design tools and addressing customer inquiries and tickets.
- Diagnosing software-related issues and documenting resolutions.
- Creating instructional videos and participating in webinars for user training.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or physical design.
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as S-Edit, L-Edit, and Calibre.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
