Application Engineering Staff Engineer

Role Summary

This position requires expertise in Physical Implementation with a focus on RTL to GDS flows. The successful candidate will engage in customer-driven projects, offering technical support and leading implementations to enhance design efficiency.

Experience Level

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in semiconductor design and implementation, showcasing strong technical proficiency and customer engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

• Advocating for customer needs and ensuring their successful adoption of Synopsys Implementation products.
• Conducting in-depth analysis and debugging of customer designs.
• Leading and supporting technical campaigns and deployments.
• Providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to enhance customer experience.
• Generating technical articles and documentation for internal Knowledge Bases.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• B-Tech with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or M-Tech with at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor design.
• Expertise in Physical Design methodologies and hands-on experience with Synopsys tools.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation using languages such as Tcl, Python, and Perl.
• Experience with chip tape-outs at advanced technology nodes.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
