Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design Lead
Role Summary
Lead technical owner for analog and mixed-signal silicon development, responsible for delivering products from concept to production within a semiconductor company. This is a hands-on leadership role combining architecture, design, verification and silicon bring-up.
Experience Level
Senior-level technical leadership. Experience leading multiple silicon projects and tape-outs is expected.
Responsibilities
Accountable for end-to-end analog/mixed-signal IC delivery and technical guidance to the design team.
- Lead analog and mixed-signal IC design from architecture through tape-out.
- Own silicon development programs including verification, sign-off, bring-up and characterization.
- Perform schematic design, simulation and participate in layout reviews and design optimization.
- Coordinate with internal teams, foundries, EDA partners and external suppliers.
- Drive decisions on performance, reliability, manufacturability and production readiness.
- Provide technical mentorship while remaining hands-on in design activities.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and domain experience.
- Strong background in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
- Proven experience leading silicon projects through multiple tape-outs.
- Hands-on experience across the full IC design flow: schematic, simulation, verification, layout review and silicon validation.
- Experience with sensor interfaces, precision analog circuits or noise-sensitive designs.
- Experience working in a fabless semiconductor environment.
Nice-to-have: experience coordinating with foundries and EDA tool partners.
