Analog Layout Senior Staff Engineer
Role Summary
The Analog Layout Senior Staff Engineer will be part of the Central Engineering business group at Marvell. This role focuses on providing IP used across various sectors including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. The engineer will be part of a small analog team making impactful contributions and will have opportunities to learn new engineering aspects while specializing in their areas of expertise.
Experience Level
Senior-level, with expected experience in delivering high-speed or precision analog circuits and knowledge of full development cycles.
Responsibilities
This role includes the following key responsibilities:
- Run simulations and verifications using Cadence Virtuoso.
- Collaborate closely with designers to refine and debug designs.
- Participate in routine meetings as a technical mentor and provide updates on project progress.
- Participate in the full development cycle, including floorplan, layout, verification, delivery, and support.
- Present specific issues or solutions encountered during project development.
Requirements
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Fundamental understanding of electrical concepts, preferably acquired through a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for implementation layers and microelectronic layers in design.
- Experience in delivering analog circuits across multiple process nodes.
- Excellent communication skills for status updates and interaction with global teams.
Education Requirements
A degree in Electrical Engineering (graduate or undergraduate) is preferred.
