Analog Layout Engineer

Role Summary

The Analog Layout Engineer will provide onsite support for advanced nodes while collaborating with the global layout and design team. The role involves working independently on block level and IP level analog layout design, coordinating closely with circuit designers and layout teams.

Experience Level

Senior level, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in analog or RF layout.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing analog layouts and supporting integration at top levels.
• Creating floorplans and layouts for analog modules such as SerDes, ADC/DAC, PLL, etc.
• Utilizing ESD, latch-up, and EM understanding to debug DRC, LVS, and antenna errors.
• Analyzing complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Determining methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinating team activities.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

• 8+ years of experience in analog or RF layout.
• Experience with Cadence tools and TSMC processes.
• Understanding of analog layout concepts for deep sub-micron processes, especially FinFET.
• Ability to work independently and as a team lead.
