Analog Layout Designer
Role Summary
The Analog Layout Designer is responsible for providing onsite support for advanced nodes while working with a global layout and design team. The role involves coordinating with circuit designers and layout teams on block-level and IP-level analog layout design.
Experience Level
Senior level, requiring a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Analog or RF layout.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to:
- Work independently on block level and IP level Analog layout design.
- Coordinate with the circuit designer and layout team.
- Have experience with floorplan and layout for analog modules such as SerDes, ADC/DAC, and PLL.
- Handle top-level integration.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of analog layout concepts for deep sub-micron processes.
- Possess knowledge of the fabrication process, preferably with FinFet experience.
- Understand ESD, latch-up, EM, and have strong debugging skills for DRC, LVS, and antenna errors.
- Work on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments, may coordinate activities of other personnel.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of related experience in analog layout.
- Experience with Cadence tools and TSMC processes (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
