Staff-level analog circuit-design engineer responsible for the design, simulation, and verification of analog I/O circuitry within the Analog Design engineering team. Role focuses on developing silicon-qualified I/O solutions and working with digital, layout, and validation teams to deliver product-ready IP.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Architect, design, and simulate transistor-level analog I/O circuits (e.g., I/O buffers, drivers, receivers, ESD structures).
• Create and maintain schematics, run PVT/Monte Carlo simulations, and perform corner analysis.
• Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure manufacturable floorplans and perform LVS/DRC sign-off support.
• Lead silicon bring-up, debug silicon issues, and iterate designs based on measurement data.
• Work cross-functionally with system, digital, verification, and product teams to meet performance and schedule targets.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation.

Key qualifications and skills.

• Must-have: Proven analog circuit-design experience, particularly with I/O or mixed-signal interfaces; strong transistor-level simulation skills; proficiency with circuit simulation tools (e.g., Cadence/Spectre) and verification flows.
• Must-have: Experience with layout collaboration, LVS/DRC processes, and silicon bring-up/debug.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with high-speed SerDes/PHYs, IBIS modeling, power management for I/O, or advanced process nodes.
• Nice-to-have: Prior work on IP development for SoCs or semiconductor product lines and experience mentoring junior engineers.
