Role Overview

The Analog Design Staff Engineer role involves working on innovative analog design projects, focusing on high-speed interface performance and system integration. With a strong foundation in electrical or electronics engineering and a minimum of 8 years of industry experience, the ideal candidate will contribute to cutting-edge technology projects.

Position Summary

This position is critical for the development and improvement of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) methodologies. The role requires collaboration with global teams, independent research, and development tasks that facilitate high-performance SoC, Package, and PCB designs.

Experience Requirements

The candidate should possess relevant experience totaling at least 8 years, showcasing proficiency in Transmission line theory, and time/frequency-domain analysis. A strong background in working with various interface technologies such as DDR, HBM, PCIe, and Ethernet interfaces is essential.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing all aspects of Die, package, and PCB physical layout designs.
  • Modeling, simulating, and verifying high-speed interface performance against specifications.
  • Improving SI/PI methodology flows to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with different teams to drive innovation in task-oriented projects.
  • Independently managing and executing SI/PI research initiatives.

Necessary Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SPICE and familiarity with 3D field solvers.
  • Solid understanding of Transmission line theory and time/frequency-domain analysis.
  • Strong experience with scripting languages like Python and TCL is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work on both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is mandatory for this position.
