Job Title

Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Analog Design Engineer will design and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits for power management and related applications, including PMUs, battery management, converters, and data converters. The role works within the Power Management team and collaborates closely with layout, test development, QRA, and operations to deliver reliable silicon to market.

Experience Level

Mid-level (Professional). Specific years of experience not specified.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include circuit design, simulation, and cross-functional collaboration to meet performance and release targets.

  • Design high‑precision analog circuits (bandgap, oscillators, crystal drivers, voltage/current references).
  • Design and optimize power converters and regulators (linear and switching), PMUs, and battery chargers.
  • Implement ESD/latch‑up immune design and design‑for‑testability features.
  • Perform mixed‑signal simulations and validation; debug silicon and pre‑silicon issues.
  • Work closely with layout, test development, QRA, and operations to ensure product release readiness.
  • Support documentation and handoff for manufacturing and test.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes followed by beneficial skills.

  • Must-have: Strong foundation in electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • Proven problem-solving and debugging skills for analog/mixed-signal systems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Vietnamese and English (reading and writing).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge or experience with Power ICs, high-voltage analog design, AC-DC controllers, DC-DC controllers (LDO, buck, boost, charge pump), battery management (linear/switching chargers), A/D and D/A converters, SoC or embedded-system design, RTL/behavioral coding, and peripheral interfaces such as I2C and SPI.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree or equivalent practical experience; specific fields mentioned: Electrical Engineering. (The posting allows equivalent practical experience.)
