AE Consultant - DVT (Applications Engineer)
Role Summary
As an Applications Engineer within Siemens EDA's sales organization, you will support customers in deploying design verification software and resolving verification and design challenges. The role involves on-site and remote customer engagement, technical enablement, and collaboration with product and sales teams.
Experience Level
Mid-level. More than 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor or EDA field is preferred.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, remote channels, and on-site visits.
- Deploy and configure Siemens EDA verification tools and workflows at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and track them using internal processes and tools.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, training, and knowledgebase content.
- Communicate customer requirements and issues to product and sales teams.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- More than 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor or EDA industry.
- Hands-on experience with Verilog and/or VHDL simulation and verification.
- Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM verification methodology.
- Prior customer-facing experience in support, training, or deployment roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication; fluent English required.
- Proactive team player, willing to learn new technologies.
- Familiarity with Formal Verification and CDC is a plus.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's (BS) or Master's (MS) degree preferred in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
