Role Summary
In the role of FPGA Prototyping Product Engineer at Siemens EDA, you will develop and enhance complex computer-aided engineering design and manufacturing processes. You will utilize your extensive FPGA prototyping knowledge to address design and tooling challenges while guiding junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Application Engineering and customers to execute FPGA prototyping evaluations.
- Serving as a technical interface with customer engineering teams to define requirements.
- Executing complex FPGA prototyping tasks such as design bring-up and debug.
- Supporting deployment and integration of FPGA prototype systems.
- Applying interoperability methodologies across various tools and platforms.
- Partnering with Marketing, Sales, and R&D to align product capabilities with customer needs.
- Communicating technical issues clearly and providing actionable feedback.
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and documentation.
- Providing guidance to junior engineers and working independently on projects.
Requirements
The essential qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in FPGA prototyping or related fields.
- Extensive knowledge of VLSI and digital design.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Understanding of large design partitioning and routing across multiple FPGAs.
- Experience interfacing with both low and high-speed peripherals.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering is required.
