Job Title

Advanced Product Engineer (Calibre DRC)

Role Summary

Join the Calibre DRC product team to develop and enable advanced DRC functionality for semiconductor foundries. The role focuses on function development, project enablement, validation, and foundry deployment while coordinating across R&D and manufacturing partners (TSMC and others).

Experience Level

Senior-level (approximately 6+ years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

The role delivers foundry technology enablement, drives product requirements, and coordinates technical deployment.

  • Develop and execute foundry technology enablement plans and prioritize foundry feedback and enhancement requests.
  • Serve as a technical expert for Calibre DRC and represent the product with foundries and R&D.
  • Create detailed requirement documents and define solution plans with clear objectives and milestones.
  • Validate solutions and manage foundry deployment and release activities.
  • Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders and cross-functional teams globally.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; nice-to-have items noted.

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Calibre DRC rule deck writing and DRC technical support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong verbal/written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional, global teams.
  • Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Nice to have: experience in the EDA industry and with related physical verification tools.
  • Nice to have: scripting experience (Tcl, Perl, Python, shell) for automation and tooling.
  • Preferred: experience leading new product feature development from concept/prototype to production release.

Education Requirements

BS degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field is required. MS degree is highly preferred. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable where noted.
