Advanced Packaging SI/PI Senior Engineer
Role Summary
The Advanced Packaging team is responsible for providing package designs that meet complex electrical requirements. This role involves high speed signaling and custom solutions for advanced applications, including multi-chip configurations and innovative packaging techniques.
Experience Level
Senior level, with a focus on hardware design and signal integrity.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include:
- Conducting SI/PI analysis of designs and optimizing 2D/2.5D/3D packages.
- Collaborating with product design teams for optimized floor-planning and package related design input.
- Performing wiring studies for signal routing, power delivery verification, and package size determination.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts.
- Experience with simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, HSPICE, Keysight ADS, Cadence Sigrity.
- Knowledge of circuit extractions and simulation techniques.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with packaging technologies and design rules.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
