Account Technology Manager (Hardware-Assisted Verification)

Role Summary

Drive Siemens EDA hardware-accelerated verification (emulation and FPGA prototyping) business within select Silicon Valley accounts. Own account strategy, campaign execution, and coordination of field resources to meet business targets for hardware-assisted functional verification products.

Work with customer engineering and management to define verification methodologies, propose solutions, and represent Siemens EDA externally at industry events.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Commonly 5–8 years of relevant experience in hardware-assisted verification (emulation or FPGA prototyping).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute account strategies and campaigns for hardware-assisted verification products.
• Foster and maintain customer relationships to understand verification challenges and propose Siemens solutions.
• Collaborate with field technical management on product introductions and customer engagements.
• Prioritize hardware-assisted verification opportunities and advise on resource allocation across the territory.
• Summarize competitive offerings and market trends for the field and business unit.
• Create and deliver presentations at local industry events in the US West region.
• Represent Siemens EDA to Director and C-level stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Travel as required (may involve up to 40% travel).

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Strong working knowledge of contemporary digital design verification practices using hardware acceleration.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-assisted verification: emulation or FPGA prototyping.
• Customer-facing experience and strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence indirectly and present professionally to senior executives.
• Familiarity with business and financial metrics relevant to sales and account management.
• Proven ability to originate and drive creative technical and commercial solutions.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working in Silicon Valley accounts or similar high-volume semiconductor customers.
• Prior experience leading cross-functional campaigns or field enablement.

Education Requirements

Four‑year Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
