Role Summary

Work on development, debugging, and maintenance of test software and test hardware to enable parallel testing of advanced DRAM devices. The role supports R&D and production test flows, collaborates with global teams, and focuses on test algorithm optimization and program validation.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Internship (intern role with emphasis on programming skills; full-time qualifications listed for reference).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities during the internship and typical tasks for the role:

• Develop new tests and test algorithms covering software and hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, trending, and test times.
• Debug test issues independently and identify root causes; provide actionable feedback to other groups.
• Perform statistical data analysis and analytics to validate programs and support program release decisions.
• Evaluate and verify yields/quality with global teams to ensure products meet data sheet specifications.
• Learn device specifications and contribute to test algo optimization and production test flows.

Requirements

Minimum practical skills and experience expected for interns (must-have vs. nice-to-have):

• Must-have: Familiarity or experience with general-purpose programming (C/C++ or Python) and basic Unix/Linux command-line usage.
• Must-have: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a multi-national, multi-functional team (basic English required; team environment primarily English & Chinese).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with semiconductor device behavior, semiconductor manufacturing, digital systems, or digital logic.
• Nice-to-have: Basic knowledge of transistor operation and semiconductor fundamentals.

Education Requirements

Candidates should have coursework or background in electrical engineering, digital systems/digital logic, computer science, or related technical fields. Semiconductor device or manufacturing knowledge is preferred. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
