VIP PE Engineer

Role Summary

This role is for a Product Engineer (PE) who will focus on the scalability and deployment of the Verification IP product line within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will work closely with product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers, and customers, and may require both domestic and international travel.

Experience Level

Mid-level with 1–3 years of experience in ASIC and/or FPGA design.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Defining protocol feature prioritization for Verification IP products.
  • Supporting marketing activities, including market research and product positioning.
  • Engaging with customers to address their design IP verification challenges.
  • Delivering presentations, demonstrations, and training to various stakeholders.
  • Capturing customer requirements to influence product direction.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

  • 1–3 years of ASIC and/or FPGA design experience.
  • Programming experience in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
  • Knowledge of EDA tools including Questa, Synopsys VCS, and Cadence NC.
  • Familiarity with protocol standards such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, and AMBA.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus.
  • Occasional travel is required.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
