VIP PE Engineer
Role Summary
This role is for a Product Engineer (PE) who will focus on the scalability and deployment of the Verification IP product line within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will work closely with product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers, and customers, and may require both domestic and international travel.
Experience Level
Mid-level with 1–3 years of experience in ASIC and/or FPGA design.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the role include:
- Defining protocol feature prioritization for Verification IP products.
- Supporting marketing activities, including market research and product positioning.
- Engaging with customers to address their design IP verification challenges.
- Delivering presentations, demonstrations, and training to various stakeholders.
- Capturing customer requirements to influence product direction.
Requirements
Ideal candidates should possess the following:
- 1–3 years of ASIC and/or FPGA design experience.
- Programming experience in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
- Knowledge of EDA tools including Questa, Synopsys VCS, and Cadence NC.
- Familiarity with protocol standards such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, and AMBA.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus.
- Occasional travel is required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
