Technical Solution Director
Role Summary
Lead technical solution development and customer deployment for Manufacturing EDA software—areas include computational lithography, metrology & inspection, and process digital twin. Work with R&D, product engineering, applications, and sales to deliver solutions to tier‑1 logic and memory manufacturers. Report to the VP of the Calibre Manufacturing Portfolio Unit and participate in senior management activities.

Senior — typically 15+ years of industry experience with significant leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop market and technology insights across the Manufacturing EDA landscape and identify vertical and cross-domain opportunities (RET/OPC, metrology & inspection, yield optimization, manufacturing physics simulation).
- Partner with regional sales and application leaders to drive strategic customer engagements and secure design and manufacturing wins with leading semiconductor manufacturers.
- Co-define and execute long-term semiconductor process technology roadmaps with tier‑1 customers and research institutions.
- Monitor competitive dynamics, ecosystem players, and emerging trends across Foundry, Memory, and IDM segments.
- Collaborate with R&D to architect, develop, and deploy computational lithography solutions for advanced DUV and EUV technologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Product Engineering, Applications) to accelerate solution deployment and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and experience:
- 15+ years of industry experience in computational lithography or related Manufacturing EDA domains.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in computational lithography, advanced mask work, or TCAD physics simulation.
- 5+ years of proven leadership managing and scaling cross-functional global teams across R&D, Product Engineering, and Applications Engineering.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and direct collaboration experience with leading IC manufacturers at advanced nodes.
- Strong knowledge of the foundry ecosystem or advanced memory manufacturing and experience supporting yield ramps and technology enablement.
- Proven track record of driving customer engagement and successfully introducing and deploying new technologies and system-level solutions.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, globally distributed environments and influence stakeholders across organizations and geographies.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Education Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
