Position Summary

This position involves identifying and solving customer challenges related to power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization in semiconductor design. You’ll be responsible for developing product requirements and facilitating cross-team collaborations to shape Synopsys's product offerings.

This is a mid-career position suited for candidates with extensive experience in EDA tools and product management in the semiconductor domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to uncover high-value challenges in semiconductor design.
  • Analyze market trends to inform product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product gaps and opportunities.
  • Craft and prioritize Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
  • Prototype code for new features to demonstrate functional requirements.
  • Oversee release readiness from Alpha to General Availability (GA).
  • Deliver training and materials to partners and field teams to communicate product value.
  • Represent Synopsys at industry forums, enhancing thought leadership.

Qualifications

Applicants should have deep expertise in EDA tools, including synthesis and RTL architecture. Experience in product management processes like MRD/PRD creation and release management is preferred, alongside strong coding skills for prototyping. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to analyze market dynamics and also showcase effective communication skills.

Education Requirements

A degree in Engineering or a related field is typically required, with additional qualifications in relevant areas preferred.
