Summer Internship - Digital Design Verification (f/m/d)

Role Summary

This internship at NXP Semiconductors offers students the opportunity to tackle real engineering challenges by engaging with digital design verification tasks. Interns will work on verification and tool automation within a team focused on ultra-low power RFID solutions.

Experience Level

Entry-level, suited for students.

Responsibilities

Interns will engage in the following key responsibilities:

• Supporting hardware engineering tasks in verification.
• Developing and debugging testcases and coverage items.
• Setting up and running regressions to meet verification goals.
• Analyzing code and functional coverage.
• Creating scripts for tool configuration and flow integration.
• Building scripts for advanced data analysis.
• Developing small apps to extend tool capabilities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, ICE/Telematics, Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• Understanding the principles of ASIC design and verification.
• Scripting knowledge (Python is essential).
• Programming knowledge in Verilog/System Verilog is a plus.
• Team-oriented with good English skills (spoken and written).

Education Requirements

Students currently enrolled in relevant degree programs.
