Staff/Senior Engineer, HIG HBM PSE (Media Health Reliability)
Role Summary
The Staff/Senior Engineer will lead the High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Product Engineering Media Health team at Micron, focusing on reliability test development and execution for HBM products. This role includes driving DPM reduction and enhancing intrinsic reliability while collaborating across functions to achieve strategic and tactical objectives.
Experience Level
Mid-level with 4+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably with product engineering experience.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and executing reliability stress and test plans.
- Managing qualification execution and resolving gating issues.
- Achieving extrinsic and intrinsic reliability through optimized test flows.
- Conducting root cause analysis on qualification and RMA device issues.
- Providing recommendations for process conversions to reduce costs and improve yields.
- Communicating with product managers to manage risks related to DPM process conversions.
- Promoting innovations that maintain Micron’s competitive edge.
- Mentoring team members and fostering their development.
- Managing projects to ensure timely delivery of technological solutions.
- Making technical decisions impacting project direction and prioritization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for holistic product development.
Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong leadership and technical skills, especially in problem-solving and circuit analysis.
- Familiarity with statistics and data analysis tools.
- Flexibility in adapting to various roles in a dynamic environment.
- Proven history of collaborative work across teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Desire for ongoing leadership development.
- Willingness to work on-site in Singapore, with international travel to the US, Taiwan, and Japan.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field is required.
