Role Overview

As a Staff IP Design Engineer at Arm, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex IP features within various markets, including Enterprise, Auto, and Client sectors. You will join an experienced team committed to implementing innovative solutions in hardware engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop IP features for reconfigurable Fuse and JTAG Subsystems.
  • Create micro-architecture specifications, RTL development, and implementation constraints while fixing bugs and conducting design checks.
  • Collaborate with architects to define subsystem requirements and design specifications that align with quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Work with verification teams to review test plans and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Act with a unified approach as a member of a cohesive team ensuring optimal solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and demonstrate a proven track record in the design of complex subsystems or SoCs.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Desired Experience

  • Expertise in digital hardware design using System Verilog.
  • Experience with analog hard IP integration and power/clock domain crossing.
  • Familiarity with static design checks, including linting and CDC/RDC.
  • Knowledge of ARM-based designs and system architectures.
  • Skill in using scripting languages like Perl or Python.

Salary Information

The salary range for this role is $191,100 to $258,500 per year.
