Role Summary
We are seeking a Staff Design for Test Solutions Engineer with a robust background in digital IC design and Design for Test (DFT) methodologies. This role involves delivering comprehensive DFT solutions to customers and collaborating on technical strategies to solve complex engineering challenges.
Experience Level
This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or 5 years with a Master’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive DFT solutions throughout the design process of digital ICs.
- Provide technical expertise in planning, budgeting, and implementation phases for test solutions.
- Implement and validate DFT solutions, including architecture planning and diagnostics analysis.
- Participate in design reviews and propose methodology improvements.
- Prototype and develop new DFT methodologies in collaboration with Solution Architects.
- Offer technical support and training to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product demonstrations and evaluations to expand customer base.
- Analyze data to present findings on new technologies to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with RTL coding, DFT insertion, ATPG, MBIST concepts, and silicon bring-up.
- Knowledge of scan architectures, fault models, and scan flows.
- Proven ability to handle complex SoCs with multiple IP integrations.
- Familiarity with relevant IEEE standards and protocols.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BS) with 7+ years of experience or Master’s degree (MS) with 5+ years of experience in relevant fields.
