Role Summary

The Staff Design Engineer position involves designing acoustic devices for applications such as 5G, LTE, and WiFi, utilizing a variety of design techniques and performing both acoustic and electromagnetic simulations.

Responsibilities

• Design acoustic devices in the range of 400 MHz to 2.7 GHz.
• Employ various design techniques including conventional bandpass filters and coupled-resonator filters.
• Perform acoustic and electromagnetic (EM) simulations using commercially available tools and internally developed tools.
• Layout devices and generate photomask sets.
• Conduct device characterization and diagnostics using RF/Microwave test equipment.
• Improve design flow, methods, and cycle time consistently.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or higher.
• More than five years of experience in designing and developing SAW/BAW devices.
• Experience with EM and Circuit simulations using software such as HFSS, AWR, and ADS.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering or higher.
