Role Summary
The Core design and verification team is responsible for the development of high-performance and ultralow power x86 microprocessor cores. This role provides an opportunity to work at the micro-architectural level of next-gen cores, engaging in design aspects that influence client devices such as laptops and custom designs.

Responsibilities
- Verification of high-performance x86-core ISA features, clock/reset/power features of processors.
- Verification of power management features, cache, coherency, and data path.
- Execution of test plans to develop testbench components for feature verification.
- Execution of coverage plans for verification closure.
- Understanding the micro-architecture specifications and correlating them to the design to root cause regression failures.
- Assessing the existing test bench setup and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrating a commitment to innovation as a team through effective communication, documentation techniques, and independent task completion.
Requirements
- Education Requirements: Master’s degree preferred in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science focusing on computer architecture.
Other Requirements
- 4+ years of ASIC design verification experience.
- Strong understanding of the design and verification lifecycle.
- Hands-on verification experience with C++/SystemVerilog testbench development.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, programming, and debugging skills.
- Experience with x86, ARM, or any other industry-standard microprocessor ISA.
- Experience with cache, coherency, and data consistency verification.
- Understanding of low power design verification techniques is advantageous.
