Role Summary

The role of Sr. Silicon Design Engineer involves contributing to the design and verification processes within AMD. This position requires a focus on developing and maintaining tests for functional and performance verification at the core level, as well as creating and enhancing hardware emulation builds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tests for functional verification and performance verification at the core level.
• Build testbench components to support the next generation IP.
• Maintain or improve current test libraries to support IP level testing.
• Create hardware emulation builds to verify the IP functional performance.
• Maintain and improve current hardware emulation environment to speed up runtime performance and improve debugging facilities.
• Provide technical support to other teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
