Sr Engineer, Test Development

Role Summary

The Sr Engineer, Test Development position focuses on designing and integrating software and hardware for automated DC and RF test solutions in a high-volume test environment.

Experience Level

Professional level with a requirement of 5 or more years in semiconductor manufacturing and test product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate software and hardware to achieve automated DC and RF test solutions.
• Develop applications on various test platforms.
• Improve test efficiency including multi-site expansion and tester platform migrations.
• Support cross-functional teams in engineering test projects and design verification testing.
• Generate and maintain related documents for test systems and software designs.
• Create test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Conduct test program buyoff activities in both lab and manufacturing settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and test product development.
• Software development and debugging experience, particularly with ATE Teradyne and Cohu platforms.
• Familiarity with C/C++/Visual Basic (VBA).
• Experience with RF test equipment such as RF sources, pulse generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Knowledge of RF Test parameters like s-parameters, noise figures, and power measurements.
• Experience in schematic design and PCB layout.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in Statistical engineering data analysis and DOE.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, interpersonal).
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
